Summer Fun Day 16 - Bubble Chalk

Bubbles are fun...

...chalk is fun...

...and it turns out...

...that chalk bubbles (1/2 piece of sidewalk chalk, or 1 stick of colored chalk if you don't have sidewalk chalk handy, crushed, and mixed with bubble solution)...

...are fun, too.

I confess I was hoping the chalk circles left by the bubbles would show up on the cement, but they did not.  They did, however, show up very nicely on white card-stock...

...and the chalk residue left behind on the cement by drips, drizzles, and errant bubbles dried and cleaned up as easily as sidewalk chalk.

It's great to be a homeschooler.

What a fun idea! It looks like you are having a lot of bubble blowing this summer.

Well, I do believe this activity should be added into the bubble stations from the previous day! :0)

Oh the kids would love this, now to figure out how to surprise them.
